The Rotterdam Expat Centre (REC) connects internationals to reliable service providers who are experts on the needs of internationals living in Rotterdam region. These service providers are the partners of the REC.

REC and Rotterdam Partners

The REC is a service of Rotterdam Partners. As the main partner organization for Rotterdam, Rotterdam Partners manages and implements the city’s marketing in order to attract international businesses, conferences and visitors. Rotterdam Partners is a key operator within a large number of networks made up of national, regional and urban partners subscribing to our joint mission to move the city forward.

Rotterdam Partners and REC believe in the power of collaboration. Many of our partners are connected to our joint partner model ‘Connect to Rotterdam & Partners’. The partners of REC are organizations that help internationals with formalities, utilities, career, insurance, transport, housing, education & childcare, taxes, health and social life.  Our partner network is extensive, active, engaged and always looking for new connections and partnerships.

 

 

10 reasons to become a partner

  1. Access to networking opportunities. Meet internationals, employers, policy makers and other companies in the region, as well as access to invite only events of Rotterdam Expat Centre and Rotterdam Partners.
  2. You will have a partner profile page on the Rotterdam Expat Centre website, including contact details, logo and a short description of your services.
  3. You will be listed in our digital Welcome to Rotterdam booklet including contact details and logo.
  4. You have the exclusive opportunity to promote your organization to internationals through promotional material such as leaflets and goodies in the REC welcome bag for internationals.
  5. You will be profiled as a new member of the network via a post on the LinkedIn page of Rotterdam Expat Centre.
  6. You have the exclusive opportunity to have your English-language marketing materials/ brochures displayed on screen in the REC one stop shop office.
  7. You may formally refer to your company as an official partner of Rotterdam Expat Centre.
  8. You will have access to the latest relevant information about trends and developments in the international community of the region of Rotterdam.
  9. You can make use of the opportunity to join a fact finding trip where new companies are orienting themselves on opening or expanding their business in Rotterdam. This is depending on the needs of the companies.
  10. You will benefit from a large international business network and possible collaborations with many partners.

 

 

Criteria

To qualify for partnership, a limited set of requirements must be met for all candidate partners:

  • You offer services or products in Rotterdam region.
  • Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding its business operations and services (General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR)).
  • Proof of a standard company procedure for handling customer complaints.
  • You offer relevant information in English and/or another relevant language for internationals.
  • A minimum of two verifiable references by international customers/companies can be provided.
  • Agreement onthe cooperation (terms of the contract) and to participate in a customer satisfaction survey.
  • Agreement to share, link, and promote related articles and logo of the REC on our website, newsletter or social media.
  • Willingness to work together with other partners who might be considered as competitor.

 

Partnership Fee

A membership fee is charged for the partnership on an annual basis. The current membership runs from January 1st until December 31st . The fee is converted pro rata and excluding VAT.

  • The fee for a “ZZP” (freelancer/consultant) is €450 per year.
  • The fee for all other service providers is €950 per year.
