Thank you for scheduling an bank appointment with the Rotterdam Expat Centre. For the appointment at the bank please bring the following:

  • A copy of your employment contract;
  • Original passport;
  • Residential address in the Netherlands;
  • Financial Identification Number (FIN) of the country in which you are currently liable to pay tax. For example Burger Service Number (BSN) or Tax Identification Number (TIN) of the country of prior residence.
    Visit the OECD website for an overview of the national rules in the various countries and jurisdictions that govern the issuance, structure, use and validity of Tax Identification Numbers (“TIN”) or their functional equivalents.

After attending your appointment, you will receive an active IBAN number directly. Your debit card, activation code and PIN will arrive by post in separate letters and random order within 3-5 business days.
